How to cancel Apple Music
To cancel Apple Music, go to music.apple.com, open your account Settings, choose Manage next to Subscriptions and then Cancel Subscription — or on iPhone open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. After the subscription expires you can no longer play songs from the Apple Music catalog. If you pay through Google Play, cancel in the Apple Music app on Android or at play.google.com.

Cancel Apple Music on the web
Works in any browser, including on Android and Windows.
- Go to music.apple.com.
- Choose Sign In at the top of the page (skip this if you don’t see it).
- Tap or click the My Account icon.
- Choose Settings.
- Scroll to Subscriptions and choose Manage.
- Choose Cancel Subscription.
If you can’t cancel at music.apple.com, Apple says to cancel in Settings on your device instead.
Cancel Apple Music on iPhone or iPad
Use this on the iPhone or iPad signed in with the Apple Account that pays for Apple Music.
- Open the Settings app and tap your name.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap Apple Music.
- Tap Cancel Subscription. You might need to scroll down to find it.
Tip: If there is no Cancel button, or you see an expiration message in red, the subscription is already cancelled. On a Mac: App Store → your name → Subscriptions; on Windows: Apple Music app → your name → View My Account → Subscriptions → Manage.
Billed by Apple or Google Play?

What happens after you cancel Apple Music
- After your subscription expires, you can no longer play songs from the Apple Music catalog.
- Playlists added from, or created with music from, the Apple Music catalog are no longer available, and Sync Library turns off.
- Music and playlists you had on your device before you subscribed are still available.
- On a free trial, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends to avoid being charged.

What happens to my library when Apple Music ends?
Songs and playlists from the Apple Music catalog stop playing and Sync Library turns off. Music you had before subscribing stays available.
I can’t find Apple Music in my subscriptions. Why?
Check which Apple Account is on your Apple receipt and sign in with that one; a family member’s subscription can only be cancelled by them. If there’s no Apple receipt, another company (such as a carrier or Google Play) bills you — cancel with them.
