To cancel Kindle Unlimited, go to amazon.com/kucentral, sign in and select Cancel membership. Your membership stays active until your next billing date, and you will not be charged again if you cancel before the renewal date. If you signed up through a third party, you may need to cancel with that company instead.

Cancel Kindle Unlimited on the web
Use this if you signed up through Amazon.
- Go to amazon.com/kucentral and sign in to your Amazon account.
- Select Cancel membership.
- Follow the instructions on your screen to finish.
Tip: Instead of cancelling, you can pause a monthly subscription for 1 month. The pause starts at the end of the billing cycle and is not available during a free trial or promotional period.
If you signed up through a third party
Amazon does not bill you directly.
- Contact the company that bills you to cancel, and to ask about any refund under its policies.
Billed by Apple or Google Play?

What happens after you cancel Kindle Unlimited
- Your membership remains active until your next billing date.
- After that date, the titles you borrowed through Kindle Unlimited are removed from your account, devices and apps.
- You will not be charged for the next period if you cancel before the renewal date.
- Membership fees already paid are not refunded, and prepaid (gift or bundle) memberships get no partial refund for unused months.
