How to cancel NordVPN

To cancel NordVPN, log in to your Nord Account at my.nordaccount.com, open Billing, click Cancel next to auto-renewal and confirm Cancel auto-renewal. You keep VPN access until the end of the period you paid for. If you bought NordVPN through the Apple App Store, Google Play or Amazon Appstore, cancel there.

Cancel NordVPN in your Nord Account

Use this if you bought NordVPN directly from Nord.

  1. Log in to your Nord Account at my.nordaccount.com.
  2. Open the Billing tab in the left sidebar.
  3. Click Cancel next to auto-renewal.
  4. Select Cancel auto-renewal to confirm.
  5. Check that auto-renewal now shows Off. You will get a confirmation email.

The same steps work for NordPass, NordLocker, Dedicated IP and bundle subscriptions.

Cancel NordVPN on iPhone

Only if you subscribed through Apple.

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap your name at the top.
  3. Tap Subscriptions.
  4. Tap NordVPN.
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription, then confirm.

Cancel NordVPN on Android

Only if you subscribed through Google Play.

  1. Open the Google Play Store app.
  2. Tap your profile picture (top right).
  3. Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  4. Tap NordVPN.
  5. Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.

If you bought through Amazon or a reseller

Nord cannot cancel these for you.

  1. For the Amazon Appstore, cancel in Amazon's subscription settings. For a retailer or reseller, contact the seller.

Does NordVPN have a money-back guarantee?

Yes. NordVPN offers a 30-day money-back guarantee for new subscriptions. It covers the initial purchase only; renewed periods, payments older than 30 days and previously refunded initial payments are not eligible, unless local law says otherwise. Ask support via live chat for a verification link, then select the eligible payment and confirm the refund in your account.

I bought NordVPN through Apple, Google or Amazon. How do I get a refund?

App Store purchases follow Apple's refund policy and Amazon Appstore purchases need Amazon. Google Play refunds can come from NordVPN support, or from Google directly if within 48 hours. Retailer or reseller purchases are handled by the seller.

How long does a NordVPN refund take?

NordVPN says refunds are processed within about 4 hours and can take up to 10 business days to reach your account, depending on your bank.
