How to cancel Xbox Game Pass
To cancel Xbox Game Pass, go to account.microsoft.com/services, select Manage next to your Game Pass plan and choose Cancel subscription, or do it on your Xbox under Profile & system > Settings > Account > Subscriptions. Turning off recurring billing keeps your benefits until the expiration date. If you bought Game Pass through Google Play, Apple or another third party, cancel with them.

Cancel Xbox Game Pass on the web
Works on a computer or phone browser for any plan billed by Microsoft.
- Go to account.microsoft.com/services and sign in with the Microsoft account you used to buy the subscription.
- Find your Game Pass subscription and select Manage.
- Select Cancel subscription and follow the instructions.
Tip: If you see Turn on recurring billing instead of Manage, your plan is already set to expire and you will not be charged again.
If you are eligible for a refund, you will be offered the option to cancel immediately with a refund.
Cancel Xbox Game Pass on an Xbox console
Use the console signed in with the account that pays.
- Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
- Go to Profile & system > Settings > Account > Subscriptions.
- Choose Game Pass, select Cancel subscription, then follow the steps.
If Google Play, Apple or another company bills you
Microsoft cannot cancel subscriptions billed by a third party.
- Contact the company that bills you (for example Google Play or the Apple App Store) to cancel or ask about a refund.
